Another New Cover

The Passion-Minded Professor, my upcoming contemporary romance from Samhain Publishing is finally up on the Coming Soon page! It makes it seem more real! And I love the cover! Isn't it great??

I have to admit Roxy, the heroine in The Passion-Minded Professor, is one of my favorites. She's the kind of fun and sassy woman I've always wished I could be. And while Daniel isn't the ultra-alpha kind of hero, he's smart and sexy and the perfect guy for Roxy.

Mark your calendar now. The Passion-Minded Professor will be available as a download June 17!

New Sale to Red Sage!

I'm thrilled to announce I've sold another novella to Red Sage. This will be my fourth story with Red Sage. The title is Dark Angel and it will be another contemporary erotic romance. Here's the unofficial blurb:

Disfigured in an accident that killed his wife, reclusive photographer, Rafael D’Angelo wants to be left alone amid rumors the car crash was no accident. Julie Brightman has been secretly in love with her sister’s husband for years. When a violent thunderstorm strands her at his secluded house, she discovers the man in the mask is not the Rafe she remembers. Trapped together, their happiness is threatened by the past that haunts them and the secrets they keep from each other.

This will be another Red Sage Presents e-book and I'll post here as soon as I get a release date. There are new ebooks released every month on the eRed Sage site. Check them out!

New Secrets Cover

I had to share the cover for Red Sage Secrets Vol 24 Surrender to Seduction. Isn't it gorgeous? My novella Up To No Good will be included in the anthology. I'm so excited. It's my first Secrets and will be released in July. I'm in some awesome company in this volume. Here's the blurb for Up To No Good:

Now the owner of a neighborhood bar, former syndicated columnist Simon “Mac” MacKenzie hides a tragic secret. When freelance writer Alison Chandler tracks him down, he knows she’s up to no good. Seeking an exclusive interview, she threatens not only his carefully constructed lifestyle, but longstanding ideas of love and trust. Is their attraction merely a distraction or the key to surviving their war of wills?

July will be here before you know it!! (I sure hope so, we're snowed in here in western NY!!)

The Good-bye Girl

One of my favorite movies of all time is The Good-bye Girl with Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason. My son (who does a lot of community theater) and I watched it this morning. He'd never seen it before. I can't believe it was made in 1977 - I suddenly feel very old! It was fun to see it through his eyes.

Of course, he's relating to all the acting references, and there are many in this movie. Neil Simon is such a brilliant writer, the lines flow so effortlessly (or so it seems.) My son was laughing at the way Elliott (Dreyfuss's role) quotes movie lines in his conversations (my son does the same thing all the time.)

Now, as a romance writer, I love the development of the relationship between Elliott and Paula (Mason's role.) They go from being antagonistic - having been thrown into a situation neither of them had any control over, to being amicable, to attracted to each other, to falling in love. My all time favorite scene is the rooftop scene and Paula's line "I'm a sucker for romance."

I am too!
